What the Job Involves

As a Senior Lawyer in Housing & Disrepair, you will manage and coordinate complex housing litigation work while deputizing for the Principal Lawyer. Your duties include providing efficient legal advice, managing a team, handling complex caseloads, advising Council Members, attending Committees, drafting reports, and scrutinizing reports for legal implications. You will also work with the Principal Lawyer on Service Level Agreement negotiations and contribute to the development of policies and procedures in line with new legislation. Performance evaluation, staff training, and maintenance of professional knowledge are crucial aspects of the role.
