What the job involves
As a Senior Social Worker in the Families First Contact Point (FFCP), you will play a crucial role in a co-located multi-disciplinary team. Your responsibilities include undertaking comprehensive assessments, working with families to determine their needs, and providing support through community-based resources. You will screen contacts using our RAG rating system, complete triage work, visit families for Family Help assessments, and coordinate support. The job emphasizes reducing duplication and hand-offs, engaging with diverse families, and making sound professional judgements about risk and need. You will be part of a team committed to trauma-informed, anti-racist, and restorative approaches.
