What the Job Involves
This role requires working collaboratively with advocates, carers, and colleagues to support service users lacking mental capacity. You will apply the principles of the Mental Capacity Act and ensure accurate case work records are maintained. Responsibilities include updating service user and carer information, making decisions based on evidence, preparing reports, and promoting joint working within a multidisciplinary team. Attending team meetings, ensuring a positive team environment, and maintaining safety standards are also critical aspects of this role.
