You are a highly motivated and well-organized individual with experience in children's social care, particularly in permanency, adoption, and long-term care planning. You possess a deep understanding of permanency processes and have exceptional organizational, coordination, and tracking abilities.
What the Job Involves
As the Permanence Team Manager, you will support permanency tracking, coordination, and adoption activities for children in care, enhancing permanency planning and oversight. You will collaborate with various teams and services to advance permanency plans, ensure meticulous data tracking and quality assurance, and contribute to service improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will chair Permanence Planning Meetings, supervise the Court Progression Lead, and lead adoption work. Your role includes maintaining oversight of various permanency pathways, preparing and chairing panels, supporting follow-up actions, and producing reports for managers and senior leaders.
