With a strong understanding of social work theories and values, you are adept at applying them in practice to promote independence and manage risks effectively. Your expertise lies in safeguarding adults, carrying out mental capacity assessments, and managing complex and challenging cases.

What the Job Involves

As a Social Worker in the mental health field within the London Borough of Lambeth, you will manage a caseload of individuals with care and support needs. The role involves conducting assessments, developing care plans, and coordinating resources to meet the needs of individuals and their carers. You'll carry out safeguarding enquiries and collaborate across networks, communities, and agencies. Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding and applying various legislations, such as the Care Act 2014, and contributing to the development of services, policies, and practices.
