Who You Are
We are seeking an experienced Substance Misuse Commissioner who can support leadership and provide capacity for system management and improvement, as well as service redesign and procurement preparation. You should have substantial, senior experience in substance misuse commissioning, complex system design, project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership.
What the Job Involves
The role involves leading the Substance Misuse Commissioning Team, managing immediate system improvements, and overseeing the redesign and re-commissioning of our main Treatment, Recovery, and Outreach contracts. You'll engage stakeholders, define requirements, finalize service models, and lead the development of service specifications and tender documents. This position includes a senior leadership responsibility for either immediate service leadership and system improvement or the design and delivery of a new procurement model. This is a fixed-term appointment, likely for 3 months initially.
