Senior Commissioning Manager – Substance Misuse (Grade M)

We are seeking an experienced Substance Misuse Commissioner with substantial, senior experience in substance misuse commissioning, complex system design, project management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. This role is ideal for someone who can support the leadership of our team and contribute to both immediate system management improvement and service redesign.

The role involves leading the re-commissioning of our main Treatment, Recovery, and Outreach contracts while managing "business as usual" work to improve our system. You will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders, defining requirements, finalizing the service model, and preparing tender documents. Collaborating with existing staff, you will play a senior leadership role focused on either immediate-term service leadership or designing a new procurement model. This is a fixed-term appointment, likely for 3 months initially.
