Who You Are

You are a professionally qualified Social Worker with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience. You possess a strong commitment to strengths-based practice, helping individuals identify and build support networks to achieve their outcomes. Your ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with multi-agency teams across the health and care sector is an asset. You are dedicated to continuous professional development and have a sound knowledge of relevant legislation underpinning statutory Adult Care Practice.

What the Job Involves

As a Social Worker Level 2, you will provide statutory professional social work support to adults with care and support needs. You will manage a varied and complex caseload, conducting needs assessments, care planning, and support package reviews. You will engage in safeguarding practices and provide mentorship to colleagues and students. Your role also involves supervising non-registered practitioners, collaborating on value-for-money care packages, and contributing to service provision reviews and improvement. You will maintain thorough case records, possibly give court evidence, and work within budgetary guidelines.
