You are a passionate and qualified social worker registered with Social Work England, having substantial experience in working with children and families. You are enthusiastic about relationship-based social work and are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and families. You possess the ability to reflect, think creatively, and build strong relationships, and are dedicated to improving the lives of people in Somerset.
What the job involves
You will engage in completing the Child and Family Assessments by collaborating with children, families, and adult-focused practitioners. You will undertake direct work with children to understand their experiences and support parents along with the family network to identify strengths and tackle challenges. In conjunction, you will have access to Family Group Conferencing and work integrally within a primarily permanent team, benefiting from regular supervision and support.

- Qualified and registered with Social Work England
- Substantial experience in social work with children and families
- Innovative and creative problem-solving
- Excellent communication and relationship-building
- Experience with motivational interviewing
- Proficient with technology for virtual collaboration
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle
