What the Job Involves
The role involves managing a varied Children & Families caseload, assessing needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating actions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and families. Responsibilities include handling complex cases, conducting assessments and reviews, preparing reports, and attending court. You will provide support and advice in alignment with the 1989 Children’s Act, develop services for children and families, supervise students, and maintain accurate records. The job also requires responding to crises, working as part of a team, and establishing effective working relationships with foster carers and partner agencies.
