Who You Are
You possess in-depth knowledge of NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) eligibility and the lawful limits of local authority provision under section 22 of the Care Act 2014. You have extensive experience in completing CHC assessments and using the Decision Support Tool (DST) in various settings.
What the job involves
As a core member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will represent the local authority perspective, engage in constructive challenges to support robust decision-making, and explore potential joint funding arrangements.
Skills
- Understanding of NHS CHC eligibility criteria
- Experience with CHC assessments and DST
- Knowledge of Care Act 2014, section 22
