What the job involves
The Temporary Accommodation Placements Officer is a key member of the TA placements team, responsible for supporting residents into temporary accommodation and ensuring Camden allocates suitable emergency and temporary accommodation according to housing legislation and guidance. Key responsibilities include sourcing appropriate temporary housing, facilitating the allocation process, and coordinating with various housing services to improve outcomes. Duties also include managing housing system records, signing up households, handling relocation logistics, and advising residents on housing options.
