Who You Are
You are an experienced social worker with a background in Child Protection (CP) teams. You have a profound understanding of safeguarding processes, CP, and court work, including pre-proceedings/PLO. You thrive in collaborative multi-agency environments, and you are committed to supporting families through challenges such as domestic abuse, neglect, mental health issues, and substance misuse.
What the Job Involves
As an agency worker with the Bassetlaw Family Support and Safeguarding Team (FSST), you will be involved from the initial Child and Family Assessment stage through to initial court proceedings. Your role will involve CIN and CP planning and supporting the initial looked-after processes. Joining a team located at the Retford Education Centre, Old Hall Drive, Retford, Notts, DE22 7EA, you will work full-time hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Fridays. The pay rate for this position is £36 per hour.
