What the Job Involves
As an administrator, your primary focus will be on the effective management and recovery of Council Tax and debts in line with legislation. You will prepare cases and represent the Council in various courts and tribunals, assist in the management of enforcement agents, and maximize debt collection efforts in accordance with statutory regulations. You will proactively respond to various customer inquiries and handle challenging queries and complaints with professionalism. Additionally, you will devise and implement efficient processes, maintain accurate records, contribute to performance evaluations, and mentor junior staff as directed, all while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
