You possess the ability to manage a team, ensuring they deliver person-centered services that empower residents to make informed housing decisions. You are passionate about preventing homelessness and supporting independence, and you can effectively oversee projects such as the Homes For Ukraine and Refugee Programme.
What the job involves
This role involves managing a team of officers who serve as the first point of contact for clients at the Housing Needs Service. You will ensure the team provides comprehensive support, including information, advice, assessments, and practical support, to help residents make informed housing choices. The position requires carrying out holistic assessments of housing, health, and social care needs, with appropriate interventions to minimize the risk of homelessness. You'll provide operational management, regular support, and supervision for your team, and occasionally deputize for the Service Manager and other Team Leaders as needed.
